This product was developed in collaboration with Tohoku University Clinical Skills Lab, Aomori Industrial Technology Center Industrial Research Institute, and Appeal Co. The shape of the product is designed for echo-guided central venipuncture, and holes are provided to simulate four blood vessels of different thickness and depth. The vessels are placed in positions that are difficult not only for beginning practitioners, but also for teaching physicians, in reference to the article. In terms of feel, the model realistically reproduces the human body-like feeling of blood vessel puncture, moderate resistance when advancing the needle, and elasticity.
